Serhan Yorganci (born February 8, 1986) is an independent Turkish animation director, writer and producer. He is the founder of Digitoons and the creator of the feature-length animated comedy Square Heads (2025).
Yorganci focuses on clear visual storytelling, character-driven narratives and a minimalist comedic style shaped by timing and rhythm. After graduating from Istanbul Bilgi University, he moved toward feature animation, building a personal approach that blends absurd humor with emotionally grounded ideas.
His debut feature, Square Heads, explores themes of responsibility, value and choice through fast-paced, stylized animation. Developed independently from script to final picture, the film reflects his interest in accessible stories that speak to both younger audiences and adults.
Before founding Digitoons, Yorganci worked in media planning and software development, contributing to large-scale agency projects. His shift to cinema and animation grew from a desire to create original stories with more expressive and personal artistic freedom.
In the early 2020s, Yorganci established Digitoons as an independent animation studio focused on producing original, stylized content. The studio develops feature-length and short-form animated projects with an emphasis on simple visual ideas, expressive characters and strong emotional clarity.
Through its work, Digitoons aims to bring new animated stories from Turkey to a wider international audience. The studio’s approach combines handcrafted animation with playful storytelling, keeping each project grounded in sincerity, humor and creative world-building.
